This is the key ingredient to promoting your business on the internet!

With online videos forecast to make up 82% of the web traffic by 2020, it’s no wonder that the job market for film and video editors is exploding.  If you have a message you want to get across within the social media platform, opt for a video. A quick, to-the-point informative video can help you reach more people because they won’t need to click through to another page to get to your content. Images and text are usually less engaging in these situations. The time it takes to edit a simple video depends on the type of video, editing style, quality and quantity of footage shot, and repeatability. Editors do not simply join clips to make videos - they create tons of beta footage, and spend a hefty amount of time to create a perfect video for their clients. That is why video editing requires passion more than expertise. #Didyouknow 1. Research shows that 76% of adults say they’ve made a purchase after watching a marketing video. 2. Millennials (18-34) are most likely to respond favorably t

Prospects and future trends of businesses

None can predict the future outcome of any particular business for certain. The future is a ‘finicky’ thing, that often shows neat resistance to outcomes or predictions based on research. That being said, there are still a couple of patterns that may ‘seem’ ready to have a major influence on the business world ahead. “The pace of change in businesses will continue to increase, as only a third of today’s major companies are expected to survive the next 25 years.” says Rufus Franck, founder of Consultants 500. So without further ado, let’s have a look at a few potential prospects of businesses for the upcoming years. Growth in the automation sector Automation in industries, the most hyped up topic of discussion of potential organizations, would facilitate higher production, efficient use of materials, certified quality products, reduced factory lead times and so forth. The automation devices often isolate employees from the workforce, thereby safeguarding them from the

Pandemic Hacks: Spare some time to learn a new language

Looks like we’re up for a very big holiday, so buckle up! Now is definitely not the time to be stressed all day and sleep all night. Rather, spend your invaluable time wisely for making the most out of it. Think of any other ways you could spend your time on? Yep, you got it right-Re-read the title above.  Learning a language is undoubtedly fun, but most importantly, it can open new doors of opportunities for some people in their career. It also allows individuals to be able to easily interpret and communicate with people of various cultures and to make connections with people overseas. Recent scientific research on the brain suggests that learning foreign languages makes students smarter overall.  Among its numerous benefits, it increases students’ mental focus, reading and writing a

The Korean alliance: deciphering the motives of North Korea

In 2017, North Korea went on to a missile launch bonanza; first into the Sea of Japan in February, then its first ever nuclear ICBM on July 4 th (Happy Birthday America!) and eighteen other missile tests, plus a cyber attack on 150 countries, disrupting everything-from banks to hospitals. According to North Korean media, Americans active in internet now have extreme nuclear-phobia. Kim Jong Un ’s threats of wars weren’t new, but this time they were echoed by the US on twitter (which seemed to be a bad way to reach someone in North Korea). But tensions were at an arguably all-time high. And afterwards, something changes out of nowhere. Kim Jong Un announced that he would send two athletes to the 2018 Olympics with South Korea under a unified flag. His sister and an entourage of suspiciously enthusiastic fans also travelled to the south. Missile Testing suddenly stopped, and Kim even met with the US Secretary of State. He also left the country for the first time as supreme leader to v

The Iran nuclear crisis: Withdrawal of US from the agreement and viable outcomes

The decision of U.S. President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Iran nuclear agreement and to reimpose sanctions jeopardizes the landmark arms-control agreement, under which Iran dismantled most of its nuclear program, and consequently the international inspectors gained extensive access to monitor its compliance. The agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (a.k.a. JCPOA), has been in difficulty since Trump’s election, and the resulting climax of uncertainty ‘spooked’ many larger firms from doing business in Iran, diminishing the economic incentives, which drew Iran to the agreement in the first place. While Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and the agreements’ European signatories will now try to reclaim it, it is clearly uncertain whether they can overcome the pressure of sanctions from the United States. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has certified for about 11 times, that the Iran government is complying with its end of the deal. Howev

Reminiscence

Image
I reminisce the time when I genuinely felt the true phenomenon of happiness and joy. I can still recall the feeling of the soft leather of the psychologist's armchair underneath my pinafore. I remember the noise it made, too; it was a high-pitched noise, as if it were protesting from my overweight. Not that I weighed an awful lot as a child; sometimes I refused to eat my meals even when I was starving , just to upset my mother. That seemed to be my number one priority, “to upset my mother”. But I knew I could be successful eventually. "Tell me, what seems to be the problem?" Dr. Cook said, tapping his Swiss fountain pen elegantly against a cork clipboard. I knew for a fact that he wasn't intending on writing anything on that clipboard. "Well, she's become quite complacent recently," my mother began. The vigorous ceiling lights of Dr. Cook's office were reflecting off the surface of her pearls. "I don't think she's been handling
